The Foothills Arts Council is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, federal tax ID 56-1186347. Donations may be eligible for special tax consideration.
For nearly half a century, the Foothills Arts Center has endeavored to enrich the creative lives of the citizens it serves through immersive arts and craft education and entertainment. Our inviting gallery spaces and classrooms have encouraged uniquely interactive experiences with the arts and humanities, and we have embraced individual and collective creativity — the same creativity that drives innovation in our region and makes the Yadkin Valley a desirable destination for travelers and locals alike.
In addition to our own diverse and inclusive programming, we promote programing from our affiliates, including Foothills Theatre, Reevestock Music Festival, and Surry Old Time Fiddlers Convention. We show our love for the arts in the Yadkin Valley together with our allies, the Foothills Quilters, The Reeves Theatre & Café, The Reeves Downtown School of Music, and Yadkin Valley Fiber Center. Furthermore, we showcase abundant regional talent through The Bacchus Gallery at The Wisdom Table and via in-person and virtual performances hosted on our campus and through our social media.
